Why should I buy from 230v?

Do you offer discounts for Installers/trade professionals?

> In case you're a trade professional in electrical/tool area, we have special prices to offer you. Please contact us by email, with your company info and the products you're interested, so we can send you a proposal.

 

Do your prices include VAT?

> Yes, all the prices that are displayed on our website already include a 23% VAT fee. This fee is mandatory for all EU clients, as per Portuguese/EU trade laws. All other international clients, with a shipping address that is not from an EU country, are exempt from this tax, for further information please check the Shipping rates & Policies link.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

> We accept PayPal, Major Credit Cards via PayPal, Bank Transfer and Multibanco reference.

 

Is my personal data safe?

> Yes, 230v invested in an SSL certificate with a 256bit encryption technology, to make sure that your personal data is safe and can't be accessed by third parties. You can check our information in the Comodo interactive seal, or just click on the padlock, located on the address bar of your browser, in the Communication form, Checkout and Personal account web-pages.

 

What currencies do you accept for online payments?

> We can only accept payment in Euros (€). Please be advised that sometimes your credit card company/bank may charge you for the conversion to Euros. If you plan on paying by Bank Transfer, please be careful to ensure you send the correct amount in Euros and that you support the banking fees for sending us the funds via Bank Transfer.

 

I want to place an order but the item is a pre-order or isn't in stock, when do you take payment?

> We would have preferred to only take funds when we ship the items, however due to some issues, like possible prices changes and declined cards, we have decided to charge cards on order. We believe this decision will make our store operations run smoother, which in turn will speed processing and shipping of all orders. We understand this might be an issue, but rest assured that if you decide to cancel your order, before it is shipped to you, for any reason whatsoever, we will return your payment in full.

 

What happens if I place an order that contains both Pre-order Items and other items that available now?

> We will ship the whole order when the final item arrives in stock. If you have any urgency in items that are available now, please place a separate order for your pre-orders/no stock items.

 

The item I received is not what I ordered, or is defective, what should I do?

> Sometimes human error may cause us to send an incorrect item, or the item may simple be defective. You may return all such items, unopened and undamaged in their original packaging, within 7 days of the original delivery. 230v will pay the return shipping costs if the product is a result of our error. In your return request you should always indicate the item you wish to return, the original order number and reason. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Product Return Authorization(PRA). We will ship a replacement item free of charge, within 10 working days of receiving the returned item.
